POP is the short form for Post Office Protocol. The POP will retrieve an email from a mail server. The POP protocol is used in most of the mail servers. The two types of Windows 8 Outlook Setup Pop Account are:
Step : 1 POP2, the POP2 requires SMTP to send messages.
Step : 2 POP3, using SMTP is considered optional.
Step : 1 Follow the steps to set up POP account on Outlook for Windows 8
Step : 2 Launch your Windows 8 computer.
Step : 3 Open Outlook. Log in to your Microsoft Outlook account.
Step : 4 You can sign up for your Outlook account if you do not have one already.
Step : 5 Once your Outlook opens, on the top right corner of the screen, locate the settings icon.
Step : 6 Click on the settings icon.
