In general, there are three Change of Address (COA) forms such as Individual, Family, and Business. The Individual form has to be used when there is only one person in the household moving or when multiple people move to different places. The family form has to be used when everyone is within a single household having the same last name and moving to the same place. Usually, mail forwarding expires after two months. Ensure that you have updated your address with each company. Most of the mails will be forwarded for 12 months, including Priority Mail, First Class Mail, and First-Class Package services. Step : 1 First, visit the official site of the United States Postal Service. 

Step : 2 Next, click on the View or Edit link next to the ‘Have you already changed your address?’ option. 

Step : 3 Fill up the required fields with your unique confirmation number and new zip code.

Step : 4 Check the confirmation number and notification letter mailed to you.

Step : 5 Once you have modified the COA request, wait for at least ten business days for the arrival of the mail. To check your USPS Mail status, follow the below-mentioned steps.

Step : 1 On your computer or mobile, open the default browser and navigate to the official USPS tracking page.

Step : 2 Enter your USPS tracking number (without including any dashes or spaces) in the search panel.

Step : 3 Alternatively, you can enter it in the search bar available at the top-right corner of the screen.
