Unpack the Brother printer package.
Inside the package, you can find the Brother MFC 9130CW printer, setup CD, installation guide, a power cord, and a telephone line cord.
The drum unit and toner cartridges are pre-installed within the Brother printer.
Remove all packing materials surrounding the printer.
Make sure to remove the protective tapes surrounding the drum unit and toner cartridges.
Take the paper tray out of the Brother printer.
Fill the paper tray with enough paper and place the tray back into the printer.
Connect your printer to a power outlet using the power cord.
Switch on the Brother printer.
Set the printer preferences as per your desire.
If required, configure the printer for the Fax operation.
After completing the printer hardware setup, perform the software installation on your computer using the setup CD.
Ensure to select the correct connection type during the software installation process.
