Setting up a Brother MFC J805DW printer is quite easy if you follow the correct procedure. The Brother MFC J805DW printer comes with an adjustable 150-sheet paper tray, ADF, and supports mobile printing. If you are setting it up for the first time, follow the below-mentioned steps on Brother MFC J805DW setup.

You have to unpack the Brother MFC J805DW printer first.
Next, take out the printer supplies such as power cord, telephone line cord, Brother installation disc, quick setup guide, and ink cartridges.
Remove the protective tapes and covers from the printer.
Open the paper output tray and load a stack of legal white plain paper in the tray.
Make sure to fan the paper well before loading.
Close the paper tray and pull out the paper support tray.
Connect the printer to an electrical outlet using the supplied power cord and power it up.
Open the ink cartridge cover and unpack the ink cartridges.
Remove the protective tape from the ink cartridges before installing them into the printer.
Install the ink cartridges one by one and close the ink cartridge cover.
Next, configure the basic printer settings such as language, region, date, and time.
If you wish to use the fax function, connect the telephone line cord to the printer and configure the fax settings.
Install the printer software on your computer using the Brother installation disc.
In the driver installation window, choose one among the wired, wireless, or USB connection option as your connection type.
After completing the installation, verify the printer function.
For mobile (Android) printing, download and install the Mopria Print Service app from the Google Play Store app.
For iOS devices, use the built-in feature — AirPrint — to print remotely from the device to the printer.
