Setting up a Brother MFC J805DW printer is quite easy
if you follow the correct procedure. The Brother MFC J805DW printer comes with
an adjustable 150-sheet paper tray, ADF, and supports mobile printing. If you

Close the paper tray and pull out the paper
support tray.
Connect the printer to an electrical outlet
using the supplied power cord and power it up.
Open the ink cartridge cover and unpack the

Remove the protective tape from the ink

Install the ink cartridges one by one and
close the ink cartridge cover.
Next, configure the basic printer settings
such as language, region, date, and time.
If you wish to use the fax function, connect
the telephone line cord to the printer and configure the fax settings.
Install the printer software on your computer
using the Brother installation disc.
In the driver installation window, choose one
among the wired, wireless, or USB connection option as your connection type.
After completing the installation, verify the
printer function.
For mobile (Android) printing, download and
install the Mopria Print Service app from
the Google Play Store app.
For iOS devices, use the built-in feature
— AirPrint — to print remotely
from the device to the printer.
